CEO of PositiveFriends.com (Positive Friends), a niche online social support community for the STD positive population. The site provide members concerned with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, Herpes, and HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) varying levels of privacy they can personalize to their own comfort level, allowing them to participate without compromising their anonymity. As with other diseases, not only the one who is afflicted with the disease is affected by it and Positive Friends supports the STD positive individual, as well as their friends and family.
A seasoned entrepreneur, was also the founder and CEO of Kentro, LLC, which was the holding company for Kentro Media and Kentro Hosting. Kentro Media was an interactive marketing firm with a focus on social networking services; and client list included YAHOO!, AFI, PBS, OpenTV, US Army, Hillman Curtis, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Aquent, Supernation, and Harley Davidson. Kentro Hosting provided a managed based hosting solution for many of Kentro Media’s clients, allowing for turnkey website development.
Prior to starting Kentro in 2001, co-founded eCamp Messaging Services, Inc (eCamp). eCamp was a niche software company that helped change the face of summer camps in the US and Canada. Providing a one-way window into the camper’s life at summer camp, it preserved the mystique of summer camp for the campers while easing their parents’ separation anxieties. eCamp.net, was successfully acquired in 2006 by Thriva.
